Commanding Your Morning

Long before the enemy manifested himself by devising a storm, Jesus had programmed life, prosperity, and success into His day and into the lives of His disciples. The devil could not kill them or cause them to fail. Although they met with frustrating circumstances, they prevailed because Jesus had already paved the way to their success with His prayers. This principle can be found in the Old Testament, as well. Job 38:12–13 reveals a conversation God had with Job. He asked a series of questions that exposes the principle of commanding the morning: Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place, That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
